Timber:
You will assist in the inspection, in-place preservative treatment and repair of timber bridges and other timber structures. New employees must learn to climb using lineman's gear. Main work items will include drilling out, inspecting and treating the bridge members with a preservative, and renewing and replacing various timber members on a bridge.
Concrete:
You will assist in the repair of various concrete structures. Main work items will include all phases of concrete restoration from jack hammering through casting-in-place and final finishing on concrete, shotcrete work, epoxy injection repairs and other activities.
Steel:
You will assist in restoring the structural integrity of steel bridge components. Main work items will include strengthening to increase load capacity, bearing renewal, repairs to corroded or damaged steel members, and general bridge maintenance.
In all areas, you will receive on-the-job training in the use of specialized equipment under the direction of qualified Foremen. All employees also receive instructions and procedures regarding safety.

Personal Requirements
You must be in top physical condition due to the nature of our work. The job consists of continuous outside work, considerable climbing, and the capability of working at heights. Positions in all areas are physically demanding and this cannot be over-emphasized.
Wages
Employees are paid on a weekly basis, overtime (over 40 hours/week) is paid at 1 1/2 times the hourly rate. Average work week is 55 - 60 hours.
Employees are promoted according to their capabilities and desire for advancement, not after any specific period of time. Employees must complete specific training activities and pass a written exam for advancement. Many of our middle management personnel have been promoted up through the ranks. It is our policy to do this whenever vacancies occur and there are qualified personnel capable of the added responsibility.
Travel
The company provides transportation from job site to job site in company vehicles.
